New Features and Experiences

We have exciting news! Alpha Skip-Ahead users can expect something new coming to their Xbox One update preview.

Family

• The Xbox Family Settings App now supports approving multiplayer for your child on a per-title basis! When your child wants to play a multiplayer game but doesn’t have the permission, they can send a request to the app for you to approve remotely. You’ll also be able to approve over-the-shoulder on console. Parents can view their child’s account settings on the Xbox Family Settings app or on the web at https://account.microsoft.com/family. To try it out you’ll need to download the Xbox Family Settings App and be enrolled in the Alpha or Alpha Skip-Ahead ring.  You can find out more about the Xbox Family Settings app as well as links to download it here.

My Games & Apps

• Users can now use the “Suspend my game” option in My Games & Apps to ensure that your downloads happen at full speed while still ensuring you can resume the title once the download is complete. This option is located in My games & apps>Manage>Queue.

Quick Resume

• Several more titles have had Quick Resume enabled with the latest update, they are:
  • Crosscode
  • No Man’s Sky
  • The Falconeer
  • Watch Dogs: Legion
  • Cuisine Royale
  • SAMURAI SHODOWN

Fixes Implemented

Thanks to the hard work of Xbox engineers, we are happy to announce the following fixes have been implemented for this build:

Accessories

• A new firmware update will be available for the Xbox Series S|X controllers that addresses the following issues:
  • Pairing, reconnection and Bluetooth stability fixes.
  • Fixes to address Bluetooth connections with Steam Link hardware.
• A new firmware for the new Xbox Wireless Headset that contains fixes for:
  • Headset powering off unexpectedly while in use.
  • Disables automatic reduction of Xbox audio when a call over Bluetooth is initiated.

Pochi minuti fa Brad Rossetti, Xbox Operations Services Program Manager della divisione gaming di casa Microsoft, ha annunciato attraverso i suoi canali social che a partire da oggi a tutti gli insider dei segmenti Alpha Skip Ahead e Alpha è stato rimosso l'obbligo di una sottoscrizione Xbox Live Gold per giocare ai free-to-play, per accedere alle Party Chat e per usare la funzionalità Ricerca per Gruppo. Questo cambiamento è al momento limitato al solo segmento insider puramente per fini di test: Rossetti ha promesso che l'obbligo verrà rimosso anche a tutti gli altri giocatori dopo che il team si sarà assicurato che tutto funzioni per il verso giusto.

Non so a voi....ma io da ieri dopo aggiornamento alpha del 6 aprile quando lancio un gioco vecchio in cui parte l’auto hdr vedo schermo nero....sento musica, se muovo pad capisco di essere nei menù o in gioco....ma non vedo assolutamente nulla....se vado in impostazioni e elimino voce hdr auto , riavvio il gioco, tutto ok .....

probably hanno imbordellato qualcosa....xche fino a ieri funzionava tutto perfetto.sui giochi recenti invece se si attiva hdr normale nessun problema 

capita anche a voi?

Ragazzi una domanda, ho letto tempo addietro che alcuni giochi partivano in dolby vision per gli insider. A me non succede, ho provato tutti i titoli che dovrebbero supportare il dolby vision ma nulla (halo mcc, borderlands 3, gears 5) Ovviamente la mia TV supporta il dolby vision e si abilita correttamente nell'app dedicata. Sbaglio qualcosa? Ho una Lg B9

Sono Alpha Skip Ahead ma mai arrivato.

Ho letto che solo con 4K60hz, 4: 2: 2 deve essere abilitato.

Poi che è rimasto attivo solo per circa una settimana e poi tolto.

Il nuovo aggiornamento è già disponibile per tutti coloro che fanno parte del programma Xbox Update Preview. Grazie a questo nuovo aggiornamento, Microsoft ha intenzione di introdurre un po' di novità interessanti, che si vanno ad affiancare ai classici miglioramenti strutturali che sistemano i problemi di affidabilità delle console e ne migliorano l'efficienza.

La novità più apprezzata è sicuramente il fatto che questo update aggiunge un nuovo gruppo nel quale sono elencati i giochi che sono in sospeso grazie alla funzione quick resume. Potendone congelare diversi contemporaneamente, si tratta di una funzionalità molto apprezzata per tenere traccia dei giochi passati tenuti in stand-by. Non solo, adesso la Guida indicherà anche se il gioco che si sta giocando supporta il Quick resume o meno.

La seconda novità riguarda l'audio. Adesso c'è una nuova opzione nella quale si potrà decidere se la console deve gestire l'audio di alcune applicazioni multimediali o passare semplicemente il segnale al ricevitore audio. Per attivare questa funzione occorre andare il Impostazioni>audio>avanzate>consenti il Passthrough sulla console.

Fixes Implemented

Game Installation:

• Fixes to address games not installing correctly to an external storage card when selected from the Store install pages (it was ignoring the default device for installation).
• Fixed the issue in which some users would show an infinite spinner if an external drive was attached and trying to install content.
• Fixes to disc installs in which some games would continue spinning on launch.
• Fixes to some titles in My Games and Apps in which the user would see the installation status loading.
• Fixed and issue in which Call of Duty: Cold War title updates would not install for some users and therefore be unable to play the game.

Groups

• Fixed and issue which caused Groups to not appear in Collection.

Quick Resume

• Fixes to the reliability of Quick Resume for some titles (e.g. Hellblade)

Party Chat

• Fixes to address Party chat not working for some users.

System

• Fixes to address consoles shutting down and then resuming with a black screen.
• Fixes to console stability that was causing consoles to shut down.
• Fixed an issue that caused some games to crash when launched with a keyboard connected.

Xbox Series X|S supportano ora il Dolby Vision anche per gli utenti Insider, ovvero la caratteristica si prepara a raggiungere il pubblico di massa dopo questo ulteriore step, con il Dolby che verrà messo a disposizione per tutti probabilmente con uno dei prossimi aggiornamenti di sistema.

 

Provato adesso.. tutti i giochi vanno in  Dolby Vision

Ne ho provati 3/4 ma compare ancora il logo HDR e non DV! Le impostazioni mi sembrano tutte in ordine!

Per ora va solo in 60hz

Magari sono i giochi testati da me che non lo supportano.

C'è una lista con quelli provati e funzionanti?

Tutti i giochi anche quelli vecchi.

Per caso sei nel ring Delta - Omega? Qua ancora non è abilitato Dolby Vision

Sicuramente ci sono problemi quindi alcuni televisori non supportano il dolby 4k 120hz (è il mio caso) ma se metto 60hz risulta abilitato il dolby vision (la mia tv è LG oled b9)

Neanche i nuovi lg sono abilitati per il dolby vision a 4k 120hz, serve un aggiornamento da lg
